About the role
An Account Manager seat in a specialist R&D consultancy. You will own a client book, keep delivery on track, and be the person clients actually want to speak to. Office-based in Manchester or Northampton.
What you’ll do
- Own a portfolio of client relationships after the sale
- Coordinate project delivery with the technical team
- Spot expansion work and hand it to sales properly
- Run reviews, reporting, and issue handling without drama
- Protect delivery quality so clients stay
What you’ll need
- Account management or client-service experience, ideally in a consultancy
- Calm with both clients and internal delivery teams
- Organised written communication and follow-through
- Able to work from Manchester or Northampton
Nice to have
- R&D tax, professional services, or regulated-client experience
- Light commercial / upsell experience
Package
- Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
