Candidate Coaching Terms

These terms apply when you book candidate services with Geoff Banks-Smith trading as Recruitment Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”). They are a consumer contract if you are buying as an individual. We provide career preparation: discovery calls, recorded video interviews, CV rewrites, and LinkedIn profile work. The package you book is as described on the Pricing page at the time of booking.

Video packages that include a sendable application recording (Graduate Starter, Deep Dive, Showcase Interview, Elite) include two recorded sessions on the same brief: a practise interview and a follow-up interview. The follow-up is included in the package fee. Quick Prep is one recorded practise session only. CV & LinkedIn only does not include video.

We start with a conversation about the roles you want, then we tailor the work to that brief.

These services are not a work-finding service charged for obtaining employment. We do not charge candidates a fee for finding them a job. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or salary outcomes.

Free Discovery Call: £0.

Quick Prep: £49 (one recorded practise session).

CV & LinkedIn only: £49.

Graduate Starter: £79 (LinkedIn, CV, two recorded sessions).

Deep Dive: £89 (two recorded sessions, CV and LinkedIn, short email support).

Showcase Interview: £99 (role-specific two-session recording; you send the second).

Elite: £149 (full package including two recorded sessions).

Optional LinkedIn share add-on: £10, only with Showcase Interview or Elite, on the terms in section 6.

Prices are in GBP. We are not VAT registered, so VAT is not added. Payment for paid packages is taken via Stripe on booking. Discovery stays free.

If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you have 14 days from booking to cancel for any reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you ask us to start within those 14 days, you acknowledge that: (a) you may have to pay for work already done if you later cancel, including a completed practise session; and (b) once the service is fully performed you lose the unused cooling-off right for that booking.

To cancel, email enquiries@recruitmenthub.info or use the model form below. We will refund unused fees within 14 days using the original payment method.

The 24-hour no-show rule and one reasonable reschedule for genuine illness or emergency apply to each session separately. Quick Prep is a single session, so the session-1 / session-2 rules apply only where a follow-up is included. Missing session 1 does not automatically cancel session 2 if we reschedule. If you do not attend the follow-up and do not reschedule within a reasonable time, we may treat the follow-up as delivered; you keep the practise recording only.

Quick Prep produces one practise recording for the candidate to review. It is not the application recording. Graduate Starter, Deep Dive, Showcase Interview, and Elite produce two recordings: session 1 for review; session 2 is the application recording they may send to employers. Do not present either recording as a live interview with that employer if it is not. We will not send your recording to an employer without your prior consent. We will not publish a recording on LinkedIn without the two-step consent in section 6. You own the file or files produced for your package.

The LinkedIn share add-on is optional and costs £10. It is only available with Showcase Interview or Elite. It is not available on Quick Prep, CV & LinkedIn only, Graduate Starter, or Deep Dive.

It is not available if the search must stay confidential from a current employer. It is for open job-seekers only.

Two-step consent is required: (1) you book the add-on with the package, or you pay the Stripe add-on link after the session; and (2) you confirm in writing after watching that specific final recording that we may post it.

We may decline to post for quality, fit, or because of a weekly cap. If we do not post, we refund the £10 within 14 days to the original payment method. If you withdraw after paying but before we post, we refund the £10.

You grant us a limited licence to publish that recording (or a short cut) on Geoff Banks-Smith / Recruitment Hub LinkedIn for the purpose of introducing you to hiring managers. You keep ownership of the file.

Public comments may appear. We will delete the LinkedIn post the same working day you email enquiries@recruitmenthub.info asking us to take it down. We cannot fully undo third-party shares or screenshots.

There is no guarantee of views, DMs, introductions, interviews, or jobs.

Cooling-off still applies to the add-on as part of a distance consumer contract.

You confirm that CVs, LinkedIn content and examples you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. We may refuse to include claims we reasonably believe are false.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for failure to obtain an interview or a job, or for an employer’s hiring decision. Our total liability for a coaching booking is limited to the fees you paid for that booking.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may bring claims in their UK home courts.
